Spencer Grammer is an American Actress born on October 9, 1983 in Los Angeles, California. She is the only child of actor/comedian Kelsey Grammer and his first wife, dance instructor Doreen Alderman. She has two half-sisters in her father’s side, Greer and Mason Olivia, and a half-brother, Jude Gordon. Her second name, Karen, was named after her late aunt.

Growing up in the world of show business, Spencer Grammer first wanted to be a zoologist, but later on found fame in the series Cheers, where her father used to star in. After a series of commercials, she landed on the role of Lucy in the hit drama series, As the World Turns. Spencer Grammer then went on to star in the series Greek, where she is better known as Casey Cartwright, a sorority girl who has a nerd for a brother, and is caught between her ex-boyfriend and her current boyfriend. In her role in the series, Spencer Grammer had to dye her hair blonde, as she was originally a brunette.
